Think out of the box - Vol. 1. - and reach your goals

Leadership is many things. In some matters it is great to follow a recipe slavishly, and it pays off every time. It can be food to account to training to ...
Other times, we descover or know it does not work. You do everything "right" and it "should" give a certain result, but does not do it. Here you have the choice to think out of the box.

An example is to do something completely new.
For instance How did I get the idea to take an education and exams in Qoya - Feminine Yoga Dance in 2012-13, in a wheelchair and while it was very difficult to keep my balance when I was sitting there?
Well, because it felt like something that was for me. Therefore obvious to try. Once I was there and got started- it and I felt so great. I "came home" again, and Qoya goes so well with me and what I stand for.

Did I know that I would succeed?

Not in the begining. 
I had examined the posibility to go to there both partially and completely in the training days. From there on, what it would take to achieve the education and exam. So I did. Finally after 1 year of training, I took the exam via webcam on Skype, where I taught a Qoya session to a group while the founder of Qoya Rochelle Schieck was on the line from the United States. It was an alternative solution we created, but also an alternative situation that was possible. 

The point is: I did what I could, not what I could not. I learned and was able to do more and more along the way.
The point is: I could have thought: "It does not work - the course is on the 5th floor without elevator and I must be carried up and down". I could have thought: "I sit in a wheelchair, so it shall never work out. I´m very sorryyyyy ...." Where we kill our energy and creativity. There are so many ways we can slow ourselves.

OR CHOOSE to uplift ourselves. If we do not get the ideas how to do it or the solutions ourselves - then fortunantly there are so much help to get around us.

In what areas are you brilliant to create constructive and loving solutions? What do you do? Can you transfer it to other areas of your life? Do you allow yourself to think out of the box and see where you land? Feel how it feels within you when you create the solutions and results.

When you try something new, think creatively, it also means that you can be successful. At other times even more new initiatives and attempts must be done. When you reach your solution and goal, it feels so good.

You can choose your values and mindset. Choose what base you give to yourself. You can set and hold the intention and then act on it. Increase your energy to where the solutions much easier arrives and while you at the same time are exuberant of energy. This is where your creativity comes into play, put into action, filling you with joy, love and where you reach your goals.

Whatever is YOUR way, I wish for you that you have joy, love and pleasure as the way to achieve your goals and dreams in your life. Think outside the box. The result can be impressively and good.

Sharing a story of Love, Joy & Success. Giving you 3 tips on how to make the results you want.

Today I am making this blog very personal. I believe we gain from other people sharing their successes and what they did to achieve it. We can take what we can project or transfer to our own lives and use it to upgrade ourselves.

In August I had a MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENT. First time standing up in public for many years. It was during a short motivational speech on "
Disability as a state of mind". Standing for a few seconds is HUGE when you have been sitting like forever - or many years. Also when it is yet at "selected days" where my body is up for it.

A little prehistory:
I was run over in 1998 and as a
 consequence I was paralyzed. I have been sitting for years without being able to feel or move my feet and legs and with massive nerve pain. An immune system that went down and the right side of my body functioning differently than the left side (top to toe). Coordination between them yet to come :-)
3 years ago I started to turn it around. "I changed my mind" and my body in the good sense.


3 of the most important steps you can take and master to reach your success are:
  1. Love yourself. Love your body - ALWAYS !!!!
  2. Follow your Joy.  It will give you more energy, happiness and of course more joy.
  3. Listen to your intuition and take action according to your inner wisdom.

When you fall - Get up

The other day I was reminded of the lesson: 
"When you fall - get up". 
It is in every area in life. 
Here I was flying out of my wheelchair when it flipped over. Landed safely and surprised on the floor with chair on top of me and a bit faster heartbeats. - People around were very sweet and wanting to help. Some of them a bit chocked and so much wanting to do the right thing.

The lessons in the lesson
  • It is far from every time we fall that we get injured. Mostly we are just a bit shaking or our bodies are but we are okay.
  • We have the possibility to discover all the people wanting to help. 
  • Seeing things from a new perspective
  • Mastering new skills 
  • The ability to be able to deal with the situation ourselves.
  • It can actually be fun and give good productive reflections, give feeling of love and safety, chance to develop.

We can both become good to fall, so we do not get hurt. Just as well can we become good to experts to get back up - even with joy, fun and love.

Which impulses do you follow and when?

Do you ever feel like the champagne in the bottle, just sparkling and can´t wait to pop up and out?

You get an impulse, vitality and loads of energy in your body. You choose to follow or let go. 

Most of us have many conscious impulses a day and in our lives.

Sometimes we suppress an impulse. This is of course good, if we by doing so, are taking better care of ourselves.
For instance the alcoholic not drinking alcohol ...

Other impulses are those, where we FEEL our true nature and true PASSION. If we suppress the impulses for too long we risk that they die. We do not pursuit our dreams and we die a bit inside. That is such a shame. At other times the timing is just not right and it is easier to let go.

There are times where there is something big you want but also many practical reason not to follow your impulse right there.
 
I have had a lot of reflections on the topic lately.
There are a couple of things I really really want. One I have succeeded in easily. The other is still to come. That made me wonder why and when I follow my impulses. The first I suppressed all summer and then gave in 2 weeks ago. The champagne blew out of the bottle. I saw and heard a lot of symbols to take action. Did for a long time but had loads of good reasonable arguments not to take this direction. The second impulse I did follow. The result is still to come. It made me think that faith and having the bodily knowledge and experience makes it easier to execute and manifest the impulse in real world and life. To succeed in it´s intention.

When there is a pressure in the bottle it is good to follow the impulse so you don´t suppress all the energy building up inside of you. The champagne will sparkle and so will you. 

You´ll gain even more energy and sparkles when you do what you are meant to do and follow your knowledge and healthy impulses. 

My personal option was applying for the Kundalini Yoga Instructor education (KRI level 1). It was one of those times in life when I just knew something was meant to be - even though I am still sitting in a wheelchair. That there was a spot for me.

I started last weekend!

All Is Support - All Is Well

Can you imagine that everything in your life and in your kids life is support? Imagine that All Is Well.

Imagine you get divorced and All is Support - All Is well. If you have kids imagine that they have the "right parents" even though the other parent is different than you thought he/she would be.

There are so many stories we can tell ourselves. 
That you choose the wrong parent/partner for your kids, that it was the wrong partner for you ...
But you did choose this person - unless it was a partnership forced on you.

Can you imagine your kids being able to use the experience to grow? That they now know something new and now know even more what they want in life so they can go get it. Imagine that you now have even more clarity what you want for you so you can choose to go get it now.

It can be this simple. The partner you choose were hopefully someone you enjoyed very much at the time you choose her/him and he/she choose you.
Now someone else is the "right for you".

Or an example from my own life. Last Friday I so much wanted to participate in a dance party celebrating the clubs 25 years birthday. I woke up tired and exhausted. I needed even more rest and sleep and throughout the day I couldn´t stay awake. I did some kundalini yoga as I do every day and then I slept some more. In the evening I could have chosen to pull myself up and out of the door. Knowing from experience, I would easily have been sick and feeling real bad in my body for the next 4-6 weeks, if I had used my body as much as I wanted to by going to the dance party that night. I chose staying in my duvets and bed, and had a wonderful time relaxing there. Just what I needed even though I missed a 25 years anniversary dance party with fun.
It was too high a price to pay making myself sick, and I absolutely felt better staying at home that night.
 

If I had felt it would have given me more energy to go of course I would have. We need to stay in touch with ourselves and when we do so the right decisions comes along.

Giving up - Letting go as a new start

Dear You.

Do you know a time in your life where giving up were the best thing happening to you?

In many places it is totally unexpected to give up. It is a taboo. People, society, familily and friends are saying "You must FIGHT", "keep going". Sometimes that is absolutely the best to do. But not always.

Sometimes it is better to give in and give up. Yes I said it. And I mean it. I have had mentors speaking of cycles and in withdrawing, time to meture something, ... Those are also true. But sometimes the best thing is to give up.
Then something totally unexpected good, near magical comes along and make it even better than you ever knew were possible. Weel it is. If what you are up to doesn´t work and makes you feel bad, if you have tried to get better in this area and you still feel awefull it is time to do something knew perhaps give up.

Newly I again saw and heart a specific interview with Wayne Dyer. Finaly someone else also had the words to explain. It made sence on a deeper level. It was just like a very serious matter I once went through. He talked about giving up. Be or get to that point where you "just" give in and give up. Then a shift can take place and you live from somewhere new.

It can be at soul level or a particulair matter where you change. When it is a big deal and something really matters in your life and for you to listen to and follow your heart and visdom truth. You are ready to take the consequences nomatter what they are because it is YOU.

Personly I am alive and I am VIBRANT HAPPY because I at once gave up. Before I FOUGHT. I was a FIGHTER. Back then I thougt giving up was no good. I am not talking about not having strainght. But to say no to something to be able to say yes to new. Saying yes to you and to life.
To me let to my biggest change in life.

Sometimes we need to give up, to let go to let in. These kind of life transormation we sometimes not know are comming. If you are a fighter it can be valuable to know.
Giving up can sometimes be the very best thing to do to let in something much better new. Your soul and you.

A special day - Celebrate our milestones

Today is a very special day. They all are ;-)

This Friday August, 8th I am co. hosting a "miracle party" at a danceclub, The Carmaclub (Karmaklubben) in Copenhagen. 

We are celebrating the progress I have had in my legs over the last year and celebrating miracles in general.
This is our 3rd miracle party. The first one was in 2012 where I had just learned to tip my toes. Last year tip my legs. 

I believe what we give energy and give our attention to grow. I believe it is important to acknowledge our successes and celebrate our milestones.
When I started coming in this danceclub 3-4 years  I was the only one in a chair. I couldn´t move or feel my legs and feet. Had issues with balance. I knew it would perhaps be a challenge for me the first time participating but also knew it would pass and then I would love dancing public in a club again. Especially the Carmaclub with it´s special atmosphere. 

I share this with you because I believe our subconsiousness register the information's we get. The more we meet success the easier it i to achieve our goals, implement and empower us self and others. It is a dance with lie and our straingths. I salute doing that and enjoying life at the same time.

Follow your guts

Sometimes I meet people who continue living their life in ways where they drain themselves.
Some are not aware and others are scared and cannot see any other way. They only imagine something worse if they change the settings in their life. 
To follow your guts you have to trust yourself (enough) or choose do it anyway to see what happens. 

Being in charge in your professional life and in your personal takes courage. To follow your gut does.
Follow your intuition. Follow your leadership takes guts.

An ordinary example is people staying at jobs they do not like or people who stay in unsatisfying relationships because they can´t imagine better for themselves.  The opposite where we follow our guts we choose for something better to be lived. We create more energy.
Perhaps quit the old job without having a new one and having or maintain the feeling it is for the better. We can try to find new ways in job and relationship, talk to the persons involved or simply change our energy and being. Rely on our body - and our gut feeling. Where we are pointed to.

If you get scared it can be a help to ask for help. Look at the goal and the gain. 
As most thing else in life the more you practise the easier to feel your gut and to know when to take action.  


Our basic gut. If we allow us self to be that important in our life. It can at times feels like jumping out from the cliff. But huge difference if we have a parachute, another cliff near to land on, mountain equipment 
or if we take a step over the edge and the stop believing. Our body will react instinctly and we will probably go down. 
So connect and feel your stomach, heart and genitals. Breathe deeply. What does your body and gut feeling tell you?  


For most people I will promise when we follow our guts we gain a life with much more energy, satisfaction, happiness and joy. Always become winners in own life even when "we lose". Because you dared to try, to dive in. Makes you a better leader. You navigated on the basis of being you. You chose to give your best shot at that given moment.
                            
So feel and follow your gut and expand your growth and happiness.

Does the body always know the truth?

Lately I have heard more than one mentor saying: "The body always know the truth" and "the body never lies". 

I partly disagree! Both as private person and professional as a body psychotherapist!
It depend how you interpret. You´ll get some examples.

When I was in my teens I felt so FAT. When I was feeling my body and looking at it I felt FAT. But the fact was that it wasn´t. For many years I looked normal sized, slim and for some years a bit chubby, but fat, no. When looking in the mirror I saw FAT. Breathing, connected to and "being in my body" I felt FAT. 
Professional there is a reason why the "food challenges" as for instans anorexia is called a dis-order. The persons perception of reality and self has changed. 
You´ll get more about this theme in another blogpost and how all is support also when human beings choose eating disorders.

Most of us know the feeling of having been to a great party. As times go by the memory of the party gets better and better. The feeling many will have in their body will resonate with what they have told them self and when sharing in stories with their loved ones. Now the party was awesome and how the party feels in the body is to.
By the way something we can counciously choose to use actively in our life.

Professional I have seen and heard people having created what is called "false memories" also related to their body. A person can have so little sense of Self (being them self) that he or she doesn´t know. The feeling in their body will often be splited and for some feels as anxiety. 

A few month ago I had surgery and after that my body for a month nearly fainted when consulting nurses and doctors. Absolutely peaceful things but my body didn´t knew and tried to escape. My body instinct was that health staff = danger. Even though I was in narcosis when operated my body remember the feeling of danger and pain. 

That being said the body does tell the true about emotions. For some human beings it is to overwhelming and for those it can be a good idea to go slow or get assistance from a mentor when feeling their body.
 
Most kids are connected to their body and express the emotion when feeling it. 
The body is a treasure chamber to tell stories we had forgot or stories we connect to when giving attention to how it feels. It can of course also be we have a story and then dare to feel our emotions as they are in the now and feels in our body. 

The body is often a fast way to seek for advice. It has lots of great answers.  
In some way the right question is not if the body alway tells the trueth. A body is a body and always tell us stories and feelings. 

The conclusion is the body is true. It has a story. Many stories and a now where we can choose to feel how it feels. To see what the body believe is true. The combination body(awereness) and head (cognition) can be glorious.

The body is a source of wisdom. It also have emotions and when we listen, perhaps go even deeper and when we respect the body's answers for many of us then it can be clearly what to do.  For example what is and feels most fun and free. Do we hold our breath or breath in the situation.... That is a great parameter.

I invite you to have fun exploring your body and it´s wisdom. If you aren´t already familier with it and it´s reaction I invite you to become.

Choose the mindsets that empower you the most

We have so many choices. Our mindsets and values are some. The most basic are.

When we grow up we are often encouraged to choose and believe in our parents mindsets, the school system, part of society (in some contries in churches, doctors, ...) ... Sometimes the values salute us, makes us expand, glow and grow. Empower us and we have a party living. At other times they do not. Some of our belief is influenced by cultural aspects. 

Many grown ups are taking classes in leadership, empowerment, personal development, more education, .... 
Also here we get to choose. Which values and which mentors we consult and belief.
It is so simple. Do we or our mentors belive in our ability to achieve goals in each level in life, to feel fantastic and awesome no matter what, or do they say: "We are so sorry for you", "Poor little you", "Someone did you wrong" and so on. 
I believe it is most important to listen to our inner true and integrity. When we want to learn new stuff or mindset then examine which mentors resonate the most. 
Sometimes we do take a stand feeling the empowerment. As time goes bye perhaps we discover new values. Now we have a new stand and a new trueth.

Three examples:
1.  At some point in life some people have "the poor little me", "the other persons/parents/schools/society faults". It can be empowering for a person who shall discover his/her right for example to be angry, to allow themself to be who they are ... When that has been learned and learned about thier own reponsibility in life they can move on to a new upgrated mindset.

2. If I have a toothache. I can coose to see it as the universe are confident in my ability to handle it. To see it as: Upgrate in the rooths. The old system is not enough anymore and better will come.
I take very good care of my teeth and though I do that they sometimes react. There can be taken so many views: 
  • Genetic 
  • Do I have inflammation somewhere in my emotional rooths and now it is time for a consious upgrate ... 
  • It can be the gate to something much better.
  • I could also go with the poor little me. Feeling sorry for myself, talking about injustice...
  • Letting the anxiety for loosing all my teeht take over. That would absolutely be dis-empowering myself. I rather choose the mindset where I belive in my ability to handle and land great solutions.

3.  Do you believe in your ability and unique gift to earn monye with joy, love and integrity?
It is a choice. What empower you the most?

When believing in our ability to handle and acomplish we most often are able to. It is the premise for achieving.
So choose the mindset that empower you the most, for what you want to achieve in your life and for who you want to be.
Take your leap into more joyful leadership. Leap into more empowerment. Choose the mindset where you are your own C.E.O. in your life.

Standing or sitting in your power

I enjoy upgrades. I enjoy joy, I enjoy love and deliciousness and much more.

When sometimes I experience it takes more time to achieve something than I thought or felt it would I tune in. 

One of the reasons many of us sometimes experience is both on one hand being scared of failure and on the other hand at success as standing or sitting in our Power.

To live our inner true. To believe in our ability to make great solutions in our lives and to contribute in society or even worldwide. It is a choise if we choose to believe in our ability to create or land great solutions. We can tell us self that we are able to and of course then it is easier to achieve than if telling us the upposite.
But it is not just telling us self.

We all know those world famous leaders as Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Gandhi who are (and were) so powerful. Powerful by sitting and standing in their power. Their courage, open hearts and being true. (In Congruence, integrity and authensity.)

Many people say they want to stand in their power and abilities and at the same time or sometimes to more permanently the under dog has tanken over. I believe in your ability to glow and glow and to shine even more to stand and sit in your power.  
Just give it a thought how you can power up even more. Notice how it feels in your body? Still breathing? Feeling free, -limited, -happy....?  

Of course there are a chance of failing when we do something new. Or if we are more kind to us self not using the frame failing but rehearsing and getting the experience just as learning to driving a bike.  If we do no try we are sure to be failing. If and when we do try, when we are in integrity, at peace and with an open heart that is the most powerful thing a human can be and -do.
Contribute with oneself and your amazing being and skills.

I salute you to tune in. I salute you to step even more into your power. 
Sit or stand in your power, just because you are you and you deserve all the best. The rest of us do to.  
Please give it to YOU and share you to the rest of us.

Just give it a thought how you can power up even more. Notice how it feels in your body? Still breathing? Feeling free, -limited, -happy....?  

Of course there are a chance of failing when we do something new. Or if we are more kind to us self not using the frame failing but rehearsing and getting the experience just as learning to driving a bike.  If we do no try we are sure to be failing. If and when we do try, when we are in integrity, at peace and with an open heart that is the most powerful thing a human can be and -do.
Contribute with oneself and your amazing being and skills.

I salute you to tune in. I salute you to step even more into your power.
Sit or stand in your power, just because you are you and you deserve all the best. The rest of us do to.

Peace day, thank you - International Workers´day - In Danish named a "fight day"

Every year at the 1th. of May it is the International workers´day. In dansih it is called The workers´ international fight day.  
Again this year it made me think of my mindset and how different it has been through the years.
The "fight rhetoric" is old-fashioned. Do you realy want to live in country and society where only your own stand and view matters or only view from someone who think oposite you? No thanks. I want to live in society where there are room for people and their different needs.  Coorporation and co-existance.

When we create a fight in our minds and rhetoric then it will be. If we are at peace inside and in our language and what we do it will show in us self and in our suroundings.

Growing up I learned to fight. I did not learn peace back then. That I have becomed to master as a grown up.
It can absolutely be good and nesesary to be able to to react if someone attac you and you need to go somewhere safe. That being said where I have gotten the absolutely best results is when I am at peace. Dalai Lama does, Nelson Mandela did. ... 
When we are at peace life expand in precious and glorioous ways.

I believe in both political and in our personal leadership it is a choice to practice peace and coorporation. 
We know Nielson Mandela became to feel at peace while he was in prisson. We know he became to be a world transforming leader through his inner peace. 

Lets take our world to the next level. Starting with usself at peace.
